Job Title: LSM Program Manager Location: Houma, LA Position Overview: The LSM Program Manager is responsible for successful program execution and is the primary liaison between Bollinger Shipyards and the U.S. Navy for all matters related to the Landing Ship Medium (LSM) program. This position requires a strong leader with a deep understanding of shipbuilding, program management, and government contracts to ensure seamless coordination. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the LSM program team to ensure timely achievement of program milestones and deliverables.
- Primary point of contact with U.S. Navy for all aspects of the LSM program.
- Oversee cross-functional project phases involving engineering, procurement, accounting, and subcontractor performance.
- Develop and maintain program schedules, status reports, and risk mitigation plans.
- Ensure adherence to customer requirements, contract obligations, and internal standards.
- Responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of designated programs.
- Interface with customers and negotiate cost and schedule changes.
- Plan and schedule program timelines and priorities including methods and procedures for implementing programs, direct and coordinate program activities, and exercises control over departmental personnel
- Provide direction and support to program team and vendors.
- Monitor and report on program status.
- Present reports define program progress, problems and solutions of each phase of the program and initiate modification as necessary to schedules, etc.
- Facilitate open communication and collaboration with customers, subcontractors, vendors, and the program team in addition to maintaining awareness of issues and concerns.
- Develops "Estimates at Completion" based on actual and projected cost.
- Coordinates regulatory and customer inspections.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, or Construction Management.
- Minimum of 5 years of program or project management experience in government or commercial shipbuilding environments.
- Previous supervisory or tam leadership experience.
- Familiarity with U.S. Navy programs, government procurement processes, acquisitions, or contracting procedures.

- Able to schedule and direct work on multiple jobs.
- Previous working experience with Federal Acquisition Regulations in addition to a sound understanding of Contract Law.

- Solid organizational and time-management abilities with attention to detail
