As the Supervisor, Billing Setup & Enrollment, you will be responsible for providing leadership, support and oversight to the Billing Setup & Enrollment team. This role will oversee and manage the workload and performance of the team, ensuring accurate and timely processing of client setup, contract and lease setup, service fees setup, unit enrollments, contact maintenance, process auditing and responses to inquiries. The supervisor will direct and administer the day-to-day operations of the team, lead and support exception handling and root cause analysis, and drive process optimization, continuous improvement, and strategic project activities.

A Day in the Life

Leadership & Team Development

  • Hire, lead, and develop direct reports to build a high-performing team
  • Provide ongoing guidance and support to foster professional growth
  • Hold weekly team meetings and one-on-one sessions to address issues and share updates
  • Prioritize leadership deliverables and manage team performance and productivity
  • Create and promote a culture of continuous improvement

Operational Oversight

  • Oversee the end-to-end billing setup, enrollment, and activation processes, including handoff to the Billing Generation team
  • Supervise monthly billing cutoff activities to ensure timely task completion.
  • Review billing errors and resolve discrepancies efficiently
  • Maintain and analyze team metrics and KPIs, such as queue volumes, timeliness, accuracy, and aging
  • Generate reports and provide actionable insights to drive performance

Process Improvement & Technology

  • Leverage technology, process optimization, and workflow enhancements to increase scalability and meet service levels
  • Collaborate with the COE and Continuous Improvement teams to implement process improvements and automation
  • Conduct regular reviews of billing setup and enrollment processes to identify improvement opportunities
  • Ensure all processes are documented and SOPs are current

Compliance & Governance

  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting regulations
  • Manage financial controls and billing governance for the Setup & Enrollment team
  • Handle audit requests from internal and external auditors

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external inquiries or escalations related to billing setup and enrollment
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and respond to inquiries promptly
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with business partners

Strategic Projects

  • Stay informed on industry best practices and regulatory changes to mitigate financial risks
  • Oversee additional projects as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, billing processes, and industry best practices
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and the MS Office Suite
  • Strong systems knowledge and aptitude for technology
  • Proven leadership and team management skills
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration
  • Maintains strong connections with team members and leadership

The hiring base salary range for this position is $60,400 - $83,100 annually. Actual compensation within this range will be dependent upon the individual's knowledge, skills, experience, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data. Please note that the disclosed salary range is solely for candidates hired to perform work within this geographic location. Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location.
