Certification & Education Required
|
- Minimum of Bachelor's degree and/or minimum of 5 years' experience in the fields of medical records technology, project management, maternal and child health, epidemiology and public health, or related areas that provide skills in data collection, quality control and assessment, project management and coordination

Experience Required
|
- Experience adhering to federal standards of privacy, such as Certificates of Confidentiality.
- Experience with management of projects similar in scope, such as interacting with staff at health departments and academic institutions, and oversight of data collection, data management, and data evaluation in the field of maternal and child health

Job Objective
The purpose of this task is to identify modifiable maternal exposures in early pregnancy that may increase the risk for having a pregnancy affected by certain major, structural birth defects.
Responsibilities
- Provide real-time access to the status of each potential participant through an existing workflow system that has an existing ATO from CDC's OCIO to include PII or have the ability and/or experience to submit a package for CDC Security Assessment and Authorization (SA&A) within the first 30 to 60 days of the award period to obtain an ATO.
- Develop a seamless connection between any electronic interview scheduling software they use and the contact information files that will be provided weekly from each Center.
- Trace any subject who is not successfully contacted at the address and/or phone number provided by the Center, using updated phone directories, electronic databases, or other data that the CBDRP may be able to provide to locate subjects.
- If needed, contact any other individuals identified by the CBDRP as possible contacts for the subjects.
- Communicate updated contact information to the local Center.
- Provide a secure encrypted method (e.g., secure FTP site) of sharing updated subject information with Centers (including address and email) on, at a minimum, a weekly schedule
