Job Summary Fresh Ideas is hiring a collaborative and client focused Financial Analyst to join our growing FOOD SERVICE team. This role requires up to 50% travel to our client sites. As the regional finance analyst, you will maintain and analyze accurate weekly and monthly KPIs and Management Information; assist the leadership team in the efficient running and improvement of the contracts, and ensure the delivery of budget/forecast targets. This position ensures company policies and procedures are being adhered to as they pertain to the accounting department. PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Produce and review weekly reporting for the operational teams, assisting them in identifying areas requiring action. * Develops and maintains processes using Excel, NetSuite * A strong understanding of Excel functions and formulas is a must. * Executes day-to-day financial reporting responsibilities for multiple units to include the review of financial data, aging, scorecard preparation and explanations, and various other financial and trending reports. * Ensures the integrity of all financial data. * Perform other duties as required or assigned. * Assist in the continual review of finance procedures and tasks working to automate tasks where possible * Complete ad hoc analysis, reporting, and project requests as identified or assigned. * Assist team with forecasting and budgeting. * Collaborate with internal teams to research and guide the accurate P&L management / Expense management / Internal Financials. * Gather and prepare data to support analytics from a variety of data source types including databases, and internal systems * Analyze and communicate financial and operational data to internal customers and leadership for decision-making and strategic planning. * Drive process improvement by Identify inefficiencies, risks, and control gaps within financial processes, working with the Projects Team to implement improvements, including automation where appropriate. * Contribute to the accounting month-end close * Foster and build relationships with business partners within Technology and the overall Compass organization. * Provide assistance with mid-year, interim, year-end, and committed audit deliverables. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum 4 years of high-volume A/P experience Bachelor's degree Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Produce financial reports in a clear and concise manner for financial and non-financial personnel B.S. degree in Accounting or Finance required 3-5 years of experience in Accounting or Finance Proficient in Microsoft Office (Strong Excel skills required, Power Bi and SharePoint preferred) Experience with SAP or other large ERP preferred Experience with Microsoft Power Applications (Power BI, Power Query, Power Automate) preferred Experience delivering presentations to Sr. Management and department customers About Compass Group: Achieving leadership in the foodservice industry Compass Group is an equal opportunity employer.
