Brief Summary of Work for this Position
The Recruitment Intern provides support and oversight for the Fall Panhellenic recruitment process. The intern will work closely with the Panhellenic executive council, chapter advisors, and Fraternity and Sorority Life staff to execute smooth preparation and execution of the Fall Primary Recruitment.

Functional Responsibilities:

  • The Recruitment Intern will support Recruitment Counselor training during Work Week.
  • The Recruitment Intern will provide on-site support to Panhellenic Executive Council, Recruitment Counselors, chapter leaders and advisors during the Primary Recruitment period.
  • The Recruitment Intern will facilitate conversations with chapter leaders and advisors regarding recruitment infractions or other reported concerns.
  • The Recruitment Intern will support Recruitment logistics and schedule management.


Minimum Education and Experience Requirements

  • Demonstrates leadership and organization skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively with a range of constituents
  • Ability to think creatively and develop new initiatives
  • Desire to work in a very fast-paced environment
  • Must have previously served on Panhellenic Executive Council
  • Must have previous experience running Panhellenic Recruitment

Preferred Education, Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Self-motivated and able to work both autonomously as well as with a team
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic
  • Excellent time management, organizational and interpersonal skills required

Work Hours "This position follows a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening and weekend hours required for events. We offer flexible scheduling to accommodate time worked outside of regular hours."
