SPA's Joint Defense Support Group provides aviation-focused analysis and program management for life-cycle systems engineering and logistics support, rapid capabilities development and fielding, cyber warfare operations, nuclear C3, and integrated air and missile defense planning. We provide advanced studies, wargame development, and analysis to support materiel operations, supply strategies, and fleet readiness.

SPA has a near term need for a Business Program Management Director located at Ft. Belvoir, VA.



Responsibilities

Candidate will be responsible for overall customer support and management of the contractor workforce to include,

    Interviewing, hiring, and training employees, staff planning, assigning, and directing work, and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
  • Ensuring sufficient personnel with the requisite skills are available and that commitments are executed on-time within budget and to the highest quality standards to meet contractual commitments.
  • Interfacing with client and outside personnel, prepares capital and operating requests, and manages staff.
  • Controlling and accounting for resources (e.g. people, budget, etc.).


Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • BS degree with 10+ years program management experience
  • DoD Secret clearance and the ability to maintain this throughout employment

Desired Qualifications:

  • Understanding of DoD Acquisition lifecycle requirements.
  • Experience managing Army programs/Task Orders
