Position Summary:

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Contract and Vendor Support Specialist to coordinate with private resource providers to procure, manage, and track commodities and resources. This position will also assist with contract management, coordinate vendor-owned equipment, and serve as the primary liaison between the State Emergency Operations Center (SEOC) and vendors.

Key Responsibilities:




  • Coordinate with private sector resource providers to support incident needs





  • Procure and track commodities and resources in support of SEOC operations





  • Assist in the management and oversight of vendor contracts and agreements





  • Coordinate logistics for vendor-owned equipment and services





  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the SEOC and vendors during activations





  • Ensure compliance with applicable procurement policies and procedures





  • Maintain accurate documentation for procurement and vendor activity





  • Support cost tracking and financial documentation related to vendor services





  • Contribute to after-action reporting and process improvement initiatives




Basic Qualifications:




  • 3+ years of work experience in vendor coordination, procurement, or contract support roles





  • Strong knowledge of contract management principles and procurement practices





  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills





  • Ability to work under pressure in fast-paced operational environments





  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and procurement tracking tools





  • Must be a U.S. citizen




Preferred Qualifications:




  • Experience supporting emergency operations and SEOC vendor coordination





  • Knowledge of state procurement regulations and vendor contracting processes





  • Familiarity with WebEOC or similar incident management systems





  • Florida Certified Contract Manager (FCCM) or equivalent certification

  • U.S. Citizenship Required: Yes





  • Performance Location: On-site while on assignment (location TBD)





  • Relocation Assistance: Not applicable





  • Clearance Required: None





  • Travel Required: Yes - up to 100% while on assignment




Working Environment:

The work environment includes Emergency Operations Centers (EOCs), field support locations, or office settings. This role may require extended hours beyond 12 hours per day and travel to locations throughout the continental United States and its territories.
