Description

American Specialty Health Incorporated is seeking a Sr. Manager-Dynamics CRM to join our Information Technology Operations department. This position will oversee the software development team responsible for the implementation and ongoing support of the Dynamics 365 CRM and Power Platform automation platforms. This position will lead a dynamic team with the goal of leveraging the Microsoft platforms to derive maximum business value. These values are within the Dynamics and Power Platform environments by identifying and implementing efficiency gains across the organization. Key to this is building strong partnerships with the Sales, Marketing, and other business units to help them identify areas of improvement and work with the technical team to design and build effective solutions.

Salary Range
American Specialty Health complies with state and federal wage and hour laws and compensation depends upon candidate's qualifications, education, skill set, years of experience, and internal equity. $112,500 to $165,000 Full-Time Annual Salary Range.
Remote Worker Guidelines
  • Remote Worker Guidelines: This position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home (WFH) in a designated work area with company-provided technology equipment. This WFH position requires you have a stable connection to your Internet Service Provider with the ability to participate by video in online meetings over a reliable and consistent network (minimum 50 Mbps download and 50 Mbps upload speed.)

Responsibilities

  • Team Management
    • Manages staff including: training, coaching, scheduling, and performance reviews.
    • Provides mentorship and identifies opportunities for cross-training and staff support.
    • Develops, manages, measures and reports on key IT metrics.
    • Assist the Product Owner in the Agile Scrum process in ensuring commitment by the team.
    • Oversee performance and commitment of the team to ensure team success.
    • Grow the team by attracting and hiring the best engineers.
    • Partner with others to deliver mission critical software. This includes, but not limited to, Product Owners, Product Managers, Scrum Masters, Software Engineering Managers, QA Managers, UX/UI Managers, IT Operations, etc.
    • Assist and guide scrum team in translating business requirements to actionable deliverables.
    • In partnership with the Product Managers, identify new opportunities to utilize the platforms to solve business challenges.
    • Assist in architecting, modeling, and development of the designs of new components within Dynamics 365 and Power Platform.
    • Work closely with the other engineering and product leadership departments to architect solid technical design and approach to software development in a large-scale environment.
    • Assist in providing time estimates for quarterly planning and compare estimates to actual time spent to improve accuracy of estimations.
  • Business Process Alignment
    • Work closely with business leaders to understand how their processes flow and where ASH can apply the Dynamics and Power Platforms to enhance productivity and deliver high-value returns.
    • Maximize out-of-the-box functionality to increase return on investment and flexibility of solutions
    • Contribute to documenting customizations and enhancements.
    • Assist with designing and implementing user-acceptance tests.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Complies with all policies and standards.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in an IT or computer related field or equivalent experience required. If equivalent experience, high school diploma required.
  • 5 years of experience leading development teams required.
  • Proven management and leadership skills of technical and non-technical teams or groups of individuals required.
  • Demonstrated success with deployment and support of solutions to solve business problems and/or produce efficiency gains required.
  • Proven ability to interface with Product Owners and Product Managers to understand the business needs and provide input into strategic planning of new features and functions required.
  • 5 years working with Microsoft Dynamics CRM, preferred Dynamics Online, including hands-on development and customization required.
  • 2 years working with Microsoft Power Platform both hands-on and with building concept designs in partnership with business partners required.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dataverse and SQL relational database platforms in a secure, sensitive environment required.
  • Experience with the Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM SDK preferred.
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics CRM Solutions management preferred.
  • Experience with developing and consuming secure web services preferred.
  • Proven management and leadership skills of technical and non-technical teams or groups of individuals. (High proficiency)
  • Experience with development and support a technical roadmap for the platforms and ensure that technical work is addressed in each iteration alongside business asks. (High proficiency)
  • Maintain productivity in a changing environment. (High proficiency)
  • Problem solving, analytical, logic, interpersonal, and communication skills. (High proficiency)
  • Experience with software development life cycles such as Agile or SCRUM. (High proficiency)
  • Packaging and deploying solutions across environments (Dev, Test, Prod) using solution management best practices. (Medium proficiency)
  • Establishing and enforcing coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes. Collaborate with QA and Security teams to conduct regular code reviews and ensure adherence to security and compliance requirements. (Medium proficiency)
  • Microsoft Dynamics 365 Certification preferred.
  • Power Platform Solution Developer Certification preferred.
