About the Team
The North America MGA Programme team oversees partnerships with Managing General Agents (MGAs) handling insurance products. MGAs submit monthly Bordereaux reports detailing policy activity. The team ensures timely submission, verifies accuracy, and updates company systems. They monitor premium payments and collaborate with the Treasury team to manage financial processes effectively.

About the Role
This analytical, detail-oriented position within the NA MGA Programs Operations team focuses on Bordereaux Management. Responsibilities include collecting, validating, and analysing bordereaux data, ensuring regulatory compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance processes and operational efficiency. Proficiency in data analysis tools and problem-solving skills are essential.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Managing and reconciling bordereaux data for accuracy and completeness.

  • Assisting in the development and implementation of bordereaux management processes and procedures.

  • Assisting in the analysis and interpretation of bordereaux data for business insights and decision-making.

  • Providing support for audits and reviews of bordereaux data and processes. Identifying and escalating any issues or trends in bordereaux data to management.

  • Collaborating with internal teams to improve bordereaux processing efficiency and accuracy.

  • Liaising with underwriters and brokers to resolve any discrepancies in bordereaux reports.

  • Coordinating with MGA partners to resolve system-identified errors and ensuring corrected records are received and successfully processed.

  • Ensuring timely and accurate submission of bordereaux to regulatory authorities and stakeholders.

  • Serving as a crucial resource for addressing all related queries, concerns, or initiatives from the offshore team.

  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of regulatory requirements related to bordereaux reporting and sharing knowledge and insights with the wider team.

About You

Requirements

  • Demonstrate working knowledge of P&C Insurance.

  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks within deadlines.

  • Be able to communicate effectively with internal teams and external stakeholders regarding bordereaux requirements.

  • Be able to adapt to changes in processes and technology to improve bordereaux management efficiency.

  • Be able to work independently and manage time effectively to meet deadlines.

  • Be able to analyse and interpret complex data to ensure accuracy and completeness.

  • Have proficiency in using relevant software and tools for bordereaux management and reporting.

  • Hold qualifications in Accounting or Business to meet role requirements.

  • Demonstrate equivalent industry experience in a comparable role or relevant academic background.

Role Factors
In this role, you will typically be required to: Embrace the hybrid culture offered at AXIS, you need to be in office 3 days per week. Much of the work involves using computers for data analysis, and communication. Comfort with prolonged screen time is necessary. While much of the work may be desk-bound, there might be occasions requiring mobility within the office environment, such as attending meetings.

For this position, we currently expect to offer a base salary in the range of $82K-103K for Chicago, $85K - 105k for New York and New Jersey. The specific salary offer will be based on an assessment of a variety of factors including the experience of the successful candidate and their work location.
