Auria is looking to hire a System Engineer to support the Command, Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) program. This role is ONSITE in Huntsville, AL. The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program integrates the Missile Defense System. It is a vital operational system that enables the U.S. president, secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, to see the battle develop collectively, and to dynamically manage designated networked sensors and weapons systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC is the force multiplier that globally and regionally networks integrate, synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations to optimize performance. This program is integral to all system ground and flight tests, which verify and exercise all current and future missile defense system capabilities. It is expected to include task assignments on the C2BMC TO60 Task Order supporting the Global SE Team. Responsibilities may include requirements engineering, use case development, logical architecture modeling, model-based systems engineering, and interface definition. WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES: Please note your updated security clearance and IAT/relevant certifications on your resume if applicable. Current/active in-scope DoD issued SECRET security clearance 5 years of related experience with a Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline or a Master's degree and 3 years of experience, or a PhD and 1 years of experience, or 9 years of related experience in lieu of a degree may be considered. Must have systems engineering concepts and skills such as: Requirements engineering Use case development Logical architecture modeling Model-based systems engineering (MBSE) Interface definition Must be able to work as part of an experienced team in developing systems engineering products while following the program Architecture and Systems Engineering Management Plan (ASEMP) and other processes WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS: A Master's Degree in Systems Engineering is highly preferred Certification: INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) Certification Certification: Object Management Group Certified Systems Modeling Professional - Model Builder Fundamental (OCSMP - MBF) Current and active in-scope DoD-issued Top Secret clearance is highly desired Experience with performing systems engineering for DoD Information Systems is desirable Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) Tools is desired Salary Range: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $105,000 - $115,000 THE AURIA TEAM: Auria is a provider of solutions and software in support of complex Space, National Security, and Cyber missions of federal, international, and commercial customers.
