Position Summary:

We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing to lead a team of Category Managers and drive sourcing excellence across key spend areas. This leadership role is responsible for developing and executing sourcing strategies that deliver cost savings, supplier performance, and risk mitigation while aligning with broader business goals.

In concert with the supply chain organization, the Senior Manager, Strategic Sourcing will be responsible for providing comprehensive supply chain leadership and support to the IPS Segment operations, with a primary focus on material cost management, strategic sourcing, and supplier relationship management. This key role will work closely with the global supply chain teams, operations, plant, and corporate leaders in the development of strategic plans and supporting objectives to drive overall performance across Regal Rexnord.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of Category Managers, fostering a high-performance culture and ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
  • Set strategic directions for category management, including spend analysis, supplier segmentation, and long-term sourcing roadmaps.
  • Oversee the execution of sourcing strategies across categories, ensuring delivery of cost savings, risk mitigation, and value creation.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs for team performance, supplier performance, and category effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Operations, Finance, Legal) to align sourcing strategies with business needs and product development timelines.
  • Serve as a key liaison with the broader enterprise global sourcing and procurement teams to ensure alignment, share best practices, and leverage global scale.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across sourcing processes, tools, and supplier engagement models.
  • Lead complex negotiations and contract development for high-impact supplier agreements.
  • Champion supplier diversity, sustainability, and compliance initiatives across the sourcing function.
  • Stay informed on market trends, geopolitical risks, and supply chain innovations to proactively adjust sourcing strategies.
  • Drive SRM (Supplier Relationship Management) and ensure SBRs (Supplier Business Reviews) are conducted with identified strategic suppliers by category.
  • Drive innovation and a focus on continuous improvement within the supply chain organization.

Required Education / Experience / Skills:

  • BA or BS degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Operations management.Master's Degree / MBA desired.
  • 10+ years of direct supply chain, operations, distribution, or related experience,
  • 4+ years of direct leadership experience.
  • Experience sourcing machine categories desired.
  • Experience with direct material, indirect services, and sourcing on a Global scale.
  • Financially literate, especially in P&L and cash-flow modeling, scenario building, and comparatives analysis.
  • Outstanding analytical skills with the ability to use a structured approach to understand, analyze, and solve complex problems / issues.
  • Ability to develop working partnerships with senior executives across the business and to challenge and influence them to create change.
  • Strong written communication and excellent oral presentation skills, and the ability to present convincingly at senior levels.

Travel:

  • Approximately 25% travel including international

Compensation Details:
$140K - $170K+ bonus

The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the company's base pay compensation forall statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors,including but not limited to the physical worksite location, candidate's skill set, level of experience,education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
