*Description*
Overview: We are seeking a highly professional, polished, and customer-focused Desktop Support Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role requires a well-groomed individual with excellent interpersonal skills who can represent the IT function with confidence and courtesy in high visibility environment. Responsibilities: * Provide support for desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals (Windows, macOS, iOS, Android) * Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to hardware, software, network connectivity, and operating systems, * Setup and configure new workstations, imaging, deployment, and software installations. * Handle escalations for complex issues, diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical problems. * Own and resolve critical incidents, providing prompt responses and effective solutions with timely communication. * Escalate cases to engineering teams as needed and manage these escalations until resolved. * Document root-cause analyses, technical solutions, troubleshooting steps, and team processes; review existing documentation for gaps and outdated information. * Monitor engineering escalations for trends, usability issues, bugs, performance issues, training quality problems, and knowledge gaps, report findings to leadership. * Analyze tickets and environments for potential technical issues/trends and give proactive recommendations to improve system performance and stability. * Seek and propose process improvements to increase support team efficiency and enhance customer experience. *Skills* asset management, WS1, Windows, Apple, MacOS, tcp/ip, DNS, VPN, Python, Bash, Powershell, DLP *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Qualifications: * 5+ years in a technical role or bachelor's in CS IS or IT with 4+ years in service roles. * 2+ years in a senior escalation role. * Strong communication skills, clear technical explanations to diverse audiences. * Experience with Inventory Management(Asset Management Operations) * Experience with WS1, Windows and Apple imaging. * Excellent problem-solving under pressure. * Customer service experience, conflict de-escalation, effective client advice. * Leadership skills that fosters teamwork. * Multitasking in fast-paced environments, quick issue resolution. * Advanced knowledge of Windows and MacOS. * Strong understanding of networking (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, firewalls). * Familiar with database (SQL, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Oracle) and scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell). Other Technical Experience * Knowledge of Endpoint Security (DLP tech/strategies). * Systems administration. * Software deployment and management (SCCM or Workspace One). * Basic scripting for automation (PowerShell, Bash). Preferred Traits: * Polished, well-groomed, and confident in professional settings. * Strong sense of customer service, urgency, and accountability. * Approachable, calm under pressure, and solutions focused. * Detail oriented, strong record keeping skills *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.
