We're seeking a IT Project Manager in Charlotte in Program and Project Management to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact.

SUMMARY:

We're seeking a highly adaptable IT Project Manager to join our team supporting our client's PMO. This role requires someone who can thrive in ambiguity, transforming high-level concepts into concrete business and project plans. As the ideal candidate, you're a self-starter who can crystallize ambiguous requirements into actionable plans while effectively leading cross-functional teams. You'll work in North Charlotte 3 days a week and 2 days remote, collaborating with stakeholders who value face-to-face interaction, particularly for leadership roles.

YOU WILL:

  • Transform ambiguous directives into comprehensive business and project plans
  • Define project requirements, scope, and deliverables from minimal initial information
  • Identify key stakeholders and workstream owners for projects in their early stages
  • Lead cross-functional teams to drive solutions and achieve project objectives
  • Perform pre-work necessary to establish project foundations and frameworks
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining high quality standards
  • Work on-site 3 days per week
  • Drive projects forward with minimal supervision and structured direction
  • Foster team integration and growth through hands-on leadership

IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE:

  • 5-10 years of project management experience
  • Strong ability to work in ambiguous situations and define solutions independently
  • Solution-driven mindset with the ability to multi-task effectively
  • Experience leading teams and driving collaborative solutions
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to work directly with senior leadership
  • PMP certification preferred but not required
  • Agile thinking capabilities and flexibility in approach to project management
  • Experience working in a client-facing environment
  • Ability to commute to North Charlotte for onsite work 3 days a week.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work without highly structured direction
  • Experience with business planning and strategy implementation
