Senior Manager - Commercial Continuous Improvement

Scope of Role:

The goal of the Senior Commercial/CI Project Leader is to support Commercial Leadership (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care, etc.) in developing Continuous Improvement Project roadmaps and execution aligned to Commercial growth initiatives.

Utilizing the 80/20 methodology and tools, the Commercial/CI Project Leader is expected to be a change leader in the commercial organization, helping our teams to focus on the highest value projects, by measuring and visualizing project outcomes, aligned to our Commercial strategy.

The Commercial/CI Project Leader is also expected to amplify the Continuous Improvement mindset throughout our commercial organization through coaching, training, mentoring and facilitation opportunities.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Develop the Commercial CI vision, strategy and improvement project roadmap, aligned to 1-year and 3-year growth initiatives
  • Lead and facilitate Kaizen workshops, using lean and commercial continuous improvement methodologies to drive process improvement
  • Build a CI culture among the Regal Rexnord commercial departments through coaching, training, mentoring and facilitating Commercial Kaizen workshops
  • Lead the alignment of commercial associate's annual objectives, aligned to 1-year growth initiatives and CI roadmap
  • Identification and elimination of unnecessary complexity and waste within commercial processes
  • Actively monitor project risks and proactively implemenent corrective & sustainment actions
  • Take ownership of change initiatives, from concept to completion, that will drive commercial process improvements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Education: B.S. Degree Required
  • Certifications: Green-Belt and/or Project Management Certifications preferred, but not mandatory
  • Experience: 5+ years of experience leading/facilitating Kaizen events required
  • Experience facilitating Transactional Process Improvement Kaizen events (Commercial setting, not Manufacturing)
  • Experience as a Continuous Improvement mentor/trainer
  • Experience with 80/20 preferred
  • Experience working in, or aligned to, commercial teams (Sales, Marketing, Customer Care)
  • Ability to influence key stakeholders in matrix environment
  • Ability to adjust to varying priorities, must be flexible and able to handle more than one activity at a time
  • Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong Business Insights Visualization Skills (Power BI preferred)
  • Above average verbal and written communication skills
  • Flexible, hybrid work location balance
  • Travel: <20%
