Position Title: Compliance Manager - Direct Services (Non-Billable Services)
Salary Range: $76,000.00 - $87,000.00 Department: Corporate Compliance
Reports to: Director of Compliance - Community Services and Contact Center Location: Remote Schedule: M-F, 35 hours Travel: 10% *This role is endowed/subsidized through September 2026, with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding.*

Position Overview: The Compliance Manager is responsible for assisting the Compliance Department with various activities to meet the ongoing regulations, objectives, and metrics for Vibrant Emotional Health programs and its departments. In this role, you will help to coordinate and support the implementation of the agency's compliance plan that addresses all applicable state and federal rules, regulations, and statutory requirements for the non-billable services programs within community services. The manager will collaborate with the compliance team in implementing and executing strategies to ensure accurate compliance tracking and reporting across all Vibrant departments. Duties/Responsibilities: Assist in the creation and management of a detailed compliance program Monitor the program's adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and standards related to its program operations and requirements Manage, update, and/or implement compliance policies, procedures, and work plans Craft and implement compliance audit tools and reports Support the compliance team with internal and external audits and reviews of systems, records, and processes to ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines and funder requirements Communicate with external funders as needed for compliance-related support Collaborate with Quality Improvement Managers and program leadership in the development of program work plans Identify areas of training and support for staff to meet regulatory compliance mandates Conduct investigations as assigned and complete thorough investigative reports regarding, but not limited to, complaints, grievances, and other incidents Use data analytics tools to support identifying trends and areas of risk Liaise across all departments to bridge the gap between clinical and administrative support staff Ensure appropriate documentation in electronic databases and hard drives Attend Internal and external committee meetings, including Vibrant's Incident Review Committee and Compliance Committee meetings as needed Other similar duties, as assigned Required Skills/Abilities: Decision Making: High level of integrity and ethics Ability to work collaboratively with staff, residents, families, service providers, and others Evaluate/interpret information and make an independent judgment/decision Critical knowledge of current compliance regulations and protocols Ability to remain calm and composed under stress Scope of Responsibility/Accountability Ability to appropriately provide open, critical, and honest feedback Superior documentation and report-writing skills Meticulous attention to detail and a self-starter Capable of working efficiently within a team Advanced skills with the MS Office Suite Superior communication skills to convey information in various forms Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree, Master's Preferred in Non-Profit Administration, Public Health, Social Work, or another relevant discipline Minimum 3 years of experience in the compliance field, preferably in the human service field. 5+ years working in the human services industry 3+ years of experience in behavioral/mental health or healthcare auditing 3+ years of knowledge of DOH, DOHMH regulations Fluency in the English language, both oral and written Fluency in Spanish or another language is a plus. Experience working in a crisis call center is highly favorable.
