Network Administrator Scott AFB Pay From: $68,000 per year MUST: Experience Network System Administrator Active DoD Secret clearance (interim Secret acceptable) 6+ years of overall IT experience 3+ years of experience managing and maintaining on prem networks and related tools Strong understanding of Network fundamentals Strong experience with Cisco systems Experience with Juniper systems is a plus Experience with security components to include Patching, Stinging, and firewall management Proven ability to trouble shoot and diagnose LAN systems Provide imaging computers/server/tablets | IN place upgrades Excellent communications both written and verbal skills High attention to detail and strong problem solving skills Strong documentation skills Ability to coordinate with other team members to meet client needs Excellent custom service and people skills Active Security+ce Relevant Network related certifications are desired but not required DUTIES: Will be working on a small team providing overall Tier II and Tier III Network support for our DoD Client Will be a part of a team in charge of the Local Area Network as well as responsible for providing support to a national network for the DoD Will be expected to provide professional customer service for DoD client Handle a wide array of tasks from basic imaging and set up, user access, systems and network security and troubleshooting Provide customer support and service to users on the domains Provide Network support coverage for the client and various offices on base Resolve routine issues, escalate technical issues and track issues/tickets through completion. Perform preventative maintenance to network Perform corrective maintenance as required to include initial trouble ticket inquiry Configure network and perform routine maintenance for the network to include basic routing, switching, and patching as necessary Efficiently manage tasks, prioritize projects, and allocate resources to ensure smooth operations Regularly assess progress, identify bottlenecks, and adjust strategies as needed.
