Responsibilities

  • Oversee global health functions, offering services like Occupational Medicine, disability management, drug testing policies, and travel services to ensure a healthy, productive workforce.
  • Implement corporate medical policies and integrate medical services at all acquisition locations.
  • Guide disability management including return-to-work assessments, consulting case managers and clinicians, contacting health care providers for treatment and prognosis discussions, and initiating medical referrals.
  • Develop protocols, provide training, and manage trends to control short-term disability costs as a subject matter expert.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to align occupational health services with employer health and safety objectives
  • Create uniform health policies for all locations.
  • Lead and develop the Occupational Medicine team
  • Provide consultation services to support integrated health teams.
  • Develop comprehensive disease management and wellness programs.

Qualifications

  • People management and skills including networking, teambuilding, and facilitation skills
  • Active medical license with the ability to transfer medical license to Tennessee
  • Board certified in Occupational and Environmental Medicine
  • 10+ years of experience in occupational medicine (mid-career opportunity)
  • Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathy (D.O.) from an accredited medical institution
  • Strong experience in worksite health programs, occupational injury management, regulatory compliance, etc.
  • Demonstrated success in driving occupational health outcomes and optimizing clinical performance
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, including the ability to partner with senior executives
  • Expert-level knowledge of state and federal OSHA standards
