About the Role

We are looking for aPR associateto join our Fabric China marketing team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing PR strategy to increase brand awareness, enhance brand reputation, manage media relations and support business growth.

This role will be located in our facility in Beijing or Shanghai, China.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement PR strategy that aligns with the overall brand building and business goals for GORE-TEX brand in China
  • Lead and execute PR initiatives for seasonal campaign and sustainability initiatives
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, influencers and stakeholders
  • Manage media pitching, press releases, and media coverage to maximize brand exposure; secure high-impact coverage
  • Develop engaging content for press releases and PR advertorials
  • Monitor brand reputation and address potential risks through PR strategies; manage crisis communications and mitigate risks in China's fast-paced media environment
  • Stay ahead of PR trends and key players' activities to innovate strategies
  • Measure PR program performance using analytics tools and provide actionable insights; use data-driven insights to refine strategies and improve results
  • Set KPIs, and review ROI to ensure campaign effectiveness
  • Develop and manage the PR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize impact
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree inpublic relations,marketing,communications, or a related field
  • Minimum of 10years of experience in PR, with a focus on the China market
  • DeepChinamarket and consumer/mediainsight,preferably within the outdoor, sports,apparelor related industries
  • Proven track record in managing high-profile mediaprogramsand crises in China
  • Strong network with Chinese media and influencers; familiarity with local regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Chinese
  • Creative thinker with strong problem-solving abilities and a strategic mindset
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing market trends
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
Desired Qualifications
  • Master's degree is a plus
