Job Summary

The Commercial Accounts Payable Coordinator is responsible for validating, computing, and processing the applicable invoices.

Location: Can office out of any UFP location or remotely

Principal Duties and Responsibilities

  • Processes account payable invoice exceptions

  • Processes intercompany payables

  • Provides customer service to internal and external customers via phone calls and e-mail, helping to identify and resolve problems, and recommending process improvements

  • Assists in the development and documentation of policies and procedures for all associated functions

  • Assists Accounting Manager(s) with AP-related projects

  • Performs other duties as required

Qualifications

  • Minimum Associate's degree, or equivalent work experience

  • Minimum 1 to 3 years of experience in Accounts Payable or a closely related accounting function

  • Working knowledge of processing controls and audit requirements for Accounts Payable or similar processing environment

  • Preferred experience/exposure to Sarbanes-Oxley requirements

  • Working knowledge of OnBase is preferred

  • Working knowledge and proficiency in the use of computer and business-related software, including Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, and Outlook)

  • Working knowledge of various office equipment (computer, scanner, etc.)

Compensation & Benefit Information:

Hourly Pay Range: $19.00 - $24.00/hour, dependent on experience*

*Pay range may also be adjusted depending on cost of living

Bonus/Incentive Pay: Incentive pay may be available for certain job roles and may include piece rate incentives, weekly production bonuses, trip rates, and employee referral bonuses. A discretionary annual bonus based on Company and business unit performance may also be provided.
