Job Posting Title Lead Mechanic

Job location: North Hollywood, Los Angeles

We're hiring a Mechanic Associate responsible for the overall maintenance and safety of our fleet across multiple locations within the AMR company. This is a key role to ensure our team can safely maintain and deliver timely and high-quality transportation services, care and customer service to patients. .

RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Mechanic Associate will perform maintenance services including mechanical inspections, screening, repairs and provide regular statuses to the Lead Technician.

* Manage inventory checks to ensure stock of supplies and equipment, regularly update the equipment tracking log, place replacement requests when necessary and document part expenditures.

* Clearly document service paperwork and OSHA safety guidelines as required and adhere to policies and procedures while complying with the company's information security standards.

* Take pride in sustaining a safe and clean working environment for the ground ambulance maintenance team and ground crew.

* Use appropriate communication methods to help facilitate coordination of efforts between departments, vendors and team members.

* Work independently and collaboratively and in a professional manner with all AMR and public safety personnel as well as your fellow mechanics and operations team.

* Read, interpret, and follow instructions and various documents and repair manuals.

* Ability to prioritizing multiple tasks and employing discretion and confidentiality in sensitive areas.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Electrical diagnosis experience with ability to read and comprehend schematics
• Must have a full set of personal tools.
• Must have a current valid driver's license.
• Journeyman level experience
• ASE Certifications (Combination A1-A8 - Mandatory Brake Certification ASE or equivalent).
• ASE 609 or equivalent Certification Mandatory

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Previous Fleet maintenance experience

Salary Range: $36.00-$40.00 an hour DOE
