Position summary:

As the Field Measurement Technician, you will perform the installation, removal, adjustment, repair and maintenance of meters, regulators, electronic equipment, valves, instruments including TBS (Town Border Stations) DRS (District Regulator Stations) Orifice plate meters, Chromatograph, Spectra Sensors, H2S, H2O analyzers and all Large Capacity customer meters in a safe and efficient manner consistent with company policies and procedures.

Pay Range: $31.56 - $47.24 per hour / Grade 47 (This posting includes the full pay range for this position. Pay is based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity.)

Reporting Relationship: Gas Tech Services Supervisor

Location: Castle Rock, Colorado

Essential Functions:
* Test and calibrate large volume meters, gauges, and instruments.
* Conduct annual Town Border Station inspections.
* Conduct annual District Regulator Stations inspections.
* Witness testing of metering stations.
* Size meters, relief valves and regulators for all types of applications.
* Make recommendations to regions on what equipment needs upgraded or repaired for safety, code compliance or improved measurement.
* Install or trouble-shooting telemetry with support from other field operations.
* Install and troubleshoot SCADA equipment with guidance from Gas Control. Conduct orifice plate meter inspections.

Additional Responsibilities:
* Perform other assigned tasks as required.

What Is Required:
* High School Diploma or equivalent
* Minimum of 1 year of experience inspecting and testing large volume meters, regulators and instruments or equivalent experience
* Solid understanding of mainframe environment, PC knowledge and applicable software is helpful.
* Ability to effectively communicate and cooperate with coworkers.
* Writing skills vital to prepare accurate paperwork.
* Analytical and reasoning skills.
* Mechanical ability.
* Highly organized, flexible.
* This position requires driving responsibilities. You must hold and maintain a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company and insurer standards.
* This role will be required to travel up to 10% of the time.

What Is Desired:
* Knowledge of meter and regulator operation beneficial.
