Job Summary: The Employment Specialist (ES) provides vocational assessment, employment preparations, job development, and job placement services to Supported Employment or Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) eligible clients. The Employment Specialist participates in activities to educate, recruit and support clients and employers. The Employment Specialist serves as an employment liaison between clients, employers, and community partners. The Employment Specialist assists the consumer by providing a variety of supportive and employment-related services, some of which may include mentoring, coaching, transportation, or other services that address the clients' readiness to work. The Employment Specialist supports program adherence to the DOR/DMH contract. The Employment Specialist (ES) needs to be a self-starter and able to work independently. The ES needs to demonstrate flexibility and excellent organizational skills. The ES needs to be able to operate from a strengths-based perspective. Requirements:
Position Location: Lancaster, CA Salary Range: $23.74 - $33.77 per hour Additional $1.00 per hour bilingual Spanish differential.
