RSM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica MDM Development Manager to lead our master data management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica SaaS MDM including IDMC, Multi Domain 360, Data Marketplace and Catalogue, excellent leadership skills, and a proven track record of managing complex implementation projects. This role will involve overseeing a team of developers, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and ensuring the successful delivery of MDM solutions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Implement an enterprise-wide data governance framework, with a focus on data quality, synchronization, and standardization through processes, data monitoring, data remediation, training, and documentation

  • Utilize your deep knowledge of Informatica MDM tools and technologies to design, develop, and implement robust master data management solutions. Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices.

  • Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of MDM projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and delivery. Ensure projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

  • Serve as a liaison between the functional data owners and the IT data owners to understand needed enhancements to integrations or data transformations to provide necessary controls and oversight

  • Develop and maintain a data dictionary, glossary, and process documentation to be distributed or made available to all employees

  • Own and drive a detailed communication plan which includes running weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings with key data stakeholders and leadership

  • Create or enhance data visibility of data quality through analytics dashboards, key KPIs and other metrics and measurements

  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to MDM processes.

  • Develop and monitor processes to track data requests, reporting needs, and serve as a point of contact to ensure communication is targeted to appropriate technical and functional resources

  • Work with IT to develop and maintain a data inventory in the analytics warehouse, which includes a full list of available data models, model attributes, statical reporting inventory, ad hoc data marts, and user access

  • Develop, maintain, and create go to market offerings utilizing the Informatica SaaS platforms

  • Work with IT leadership to ensure the proper controls are being managed and reviewed for all data integrations

  • Own the single source of truth conceptual model in the data warehouse and ensure that all enrichments adhere to the model design principles

  • Collaborate with IT to ensure privacy/security and access to data is properly aligned to organizational standards

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, Data Analytics or Data Science

  • 7+ Years of experience in the professional services industry

  • 5+ Years of experience working with Informatica SaaS MDM, IDMC and other governance projects.

  • 3+ Years of enterprise level project management experience

  • Knowledge of data governance frameworks (like DAMA-DMBOK or DCAM) or have demonstrated the ability to implement data strategies across disparate data systems

  • Hands-on experience with Multi-Domain SaaS Informatica platforms, CDI, IDMC

  • Experience with, at minimum three, end-to-end MDM implementation (from scope definition to implementation and training) for a client or organization

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to articulate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.

  • Hands-on experience leveraging data governance tools and technologies to perform activities pertaining to data quality, data cataloging, lineage, etc.

  • Experience with implementing data modeling concepts, semantic layer, star schema, data normalization

  • Proven record of managing relationships with senior client stakeholders and technology partners

  • Ability to travel (~25%) as needed to client sites for business development and project engagements.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Professional training, certifications, or qualifications in Data Governance tools like:

    • Informatica SaaS MDM Implementation Specialist

    • Informatica CDI

    • Informatica IDMC

    • Informatica PowerCenter

    • Informatica Data Governance

  • Active participation in local industry associations in the domain of data management or governance

  • Strong understanding of some regulatory compliance standards (e.g. GDPR, HIPAA, PIPEDA, PHIPA, HIA, BCBS-239 etc.)

  • Strong understanding of data warehousing principles, data modeling techniques, and ETL processes

At RSM, an employee's pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.

Compensation Range: $107,000 - $214,500

Individualsselected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance.
