As the Team Lead Microcarriers, you will be responsible for managing daily operations on the production floor. This includes planning, assigning, and directing work; assessing performance; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Grow with Us - Your Responsibilities

  • As a Team Lead, you can work independently, with little supervision and are highly trained and proficient in company manufacturing protocols. You will function as a primary trainer for those with less experience.

  • Plan and execute production in accordance with strict ISO procedures and work instructions.

  • Coordinate with other departments to ensure equipment up time, material supply, quality control testing, and timely completion of production.

  • Ensures the team meets production schedules and deadlines.

  • Trains new team members and ensures that all team members stay current and maintain their relevant training.

  • Conducts regular team meetings to communicate targets, strategies, and company information.

  • Identifies areas for improvement and initiates projects aimed at improving safety, quality and productivity.

  • Operates equipment associated with product processes following all relevant safety guidelines.

  • Assists with inventory control functions, equipment maintenance and calibration records.

  • Responsible for cleaning and validation of equipment and vessels used in various manufacturing procedures.

  • Records and completes production batch records and other ISO documentation according to approved procedures.

  • Monitors processes, records, interprets results, and provides feedback or suggestions for improving work instructions, product processes or ergonomics.

  • Complies with all corporate policies such as record retention, procedures related to safety/health, ISO and accountable for good housekeeping in all manufacturing areas.

  • Complies with standard and special clean room procedures and guidelines, as required.

  • Complies with biohazard and chemical safety standards through proper handling of potentially hazardous chemicals in the manufacturing labs.

  • Assist other team members and management in matters so designated.

What Will Convince Us

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, Engineering, or a related field is preferred. Or High School Diploma or equivalent plus 5 years of relevant work experience in a production floor.

  • Relevant training and experience in Six Sigma, or Lean Manufacturing can be advantageous.

  • Extensive experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally with at least 2-3 years in a lead role.

  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.

  • Excellent communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.

  • Experience in GMP, ISO and clean room manufacturing is highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated commitment to promoting a culture of safety and quality.

  • Strong time management and mechanical Aptitude

  • Proven verbal and written communication skills

  • Working knowledge of MS Office
