We are currently seeking a Requirements Manager who will serve as a key member of the PMA-261 program office, providing expert-level support in managing, analyzing, and maintaining system requirements for the CH-53K King Stallion helicopter program using IBM DOORS. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the traceability, consistency, and compliance of program requirements in support of system development, testing, and certification efforts.

Duties:




  • Manage and maintain requirements within IBM DOORS for PMA-261 platforms and subsystems.



  • Develop, refine, and implement requirements management plans, processes, and tools to ensure consistent application across the program lifecycle.



  • Establish and maintain traceability between requirements, system architecture, test cases, and verification activities.



  • Collaborate with Systems Engineers, Test & Evaluation (T&E), Logistics, and Configuration Management teams to align requirements with design and test artifacts.



  • Support Technical Reviews (SRR, PDR, CDR) by preparing and presenting DOORS-based requirements artifacts.



  • Conduct impact analyses for requirement changes and facilitate Configuration Control Board (CCB) documentation.



  • Provide training and mentorship to team members on DOORS best practices and usage.



  • Generate regular reports and metrics on requirements status, verification, and compliance.



  • Interface with OEMs and contractors to validate requirements alignment and delivery.




Required Experience:




  • 5+ years of experience managing system or software requirements for DoD programs.



  • 3+ years of direct, hands-on experience with IBM DOORS (classic).



  • Proficiency in developing requirement hierarchies, traceability matrices, and DOORS DXL scripting.



  • Strong understanding of requirements engineering principles and the full system lifecycle.



  • Experience supporting or interacting with NAVAIR, PMAs, or other Navy acquisition programs.




Required Education:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.


Desired Qualifications:



  • Master's degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.

  • Experience with CH-53E or CH-53K platforms or other rotary-wing aircraft.



  • Familiarity with NAVAIR acquisition lifecycle documents and processes.



  • Knowledge of Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) principles.



  • Familiarity with tools such as Cameo, JIRA, or DOORS Next Generation.



  • INCOSE CSEP or similar certification is a plus.




Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance. Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required.

Compensation at Precise Systems is determined by various factors, including education, experience, skills, competencies, and contract-specific requirements. The salary range for this position is $77,571.36-$155,142.72 (annualized USD). This range represents the standard pay for this role and is just one component of Precise Systems' total compensation package.
