Our Opening and Your Responsibilities
* Meet or exceed company sales forecasts in the designated area for assigned products by leveraging in-depth knowledge of market segments, technical expertise, and sales skills.
* Identify opportunities to create and drive sales leads, and develop a sales plan to convert leads into opportunities using available resources.
* Regularly conduct customer presentations and workshops to build product interest and engage Key Opinion Leaders.
* Plan and conduct product demonstrations in coordination with RAININ Sales Generalists to drive cross-functional opportunities.
* Travel throughout the assigned area to develop strong customer relationships, enhance knowledge of accounts, solicit orders, perform product demonstrations, attend trade shows, and troubleshoot as needed.
* Provide primary field support for "Life Science Solutions" tools, offering onsite training and application support post-sale, including equipment installation and first-level user training.
* Regularly use and comply with the corporate electronic account management system (CRM), documenting customer interactions, managing leads and appointments, and tracking opportunities.
* Participate in strategic market analysis and provide competitive information to management to assist in identifying new product opportunities and special marketing programs.
* Collaborate across MT Business Units at shared accounts to grow the overall sales of the company. Work collaboratively with RAININ Sales Generalists in shared accts to identify new opportunities for in scope products in existing customer accts.
* Travel domestically and internationally as required. What You Need to Succeed
* Degree from a four-year college or university.
* Three to five years of equipment sales experience in the life sciences environment, with flow cytometry experience preferred.
* Familiarity with a variety of sales concepts, practices, and procedures.
* Must possess a valid driver's license, evidence of insurance/insurability, and the ability to obtain appropriate clearance to access restricted government accounts. Our Offer to You
