Koch Technology is seeking a dynamic and experienced Product and Architecture Leader to join our IT Infrastructure team. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic vision and operational excellence of Koch's IT infrastructure. As a leader in this space, you will be responsible for driving IT infrastructure product roadmaps, defining robust architectural strategies, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure, and forward-thinking solutions that align with organizational and business goals and objectives. Your leadership will directly contribute to driving innovation, optimizing operations, and empowering teams to deliver value across the organization.

Our Team

The Koch Infrastructure team provides reliable, flexible, and secure solutions that empower business outcomes and profitable transformation. Our global infrastructure team manages all aspects of the enterprise network, hosting solutions, and leveraged datacenters. We provide enterprise infrastructure monitoring for IT components across the enterprise. We are currently focused on the following transformation strategies: talent, proactive management, process optimization and automation, security by design, delivering rock-solid operations, and enhanced observability.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and maintain the roadmap for core IT infrastructure products, aligning with business objectives and long-term growth strategies.
  • Adopt a customer-centric approach to product management, balancing technical requirements, business priorities, and value-driven deliverables.
  • Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and resilient IT infrastructure architectures, including core routing and switching, cloud solutions, and data centers.
  • Provide technical leadership on cloud technologies, networking, security products, and data center solutions to enhance infrastructure capabilities.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies while fostering innovation by exploring new ideas, defining objectives, and testing hypotheses through rigorous experimentation.
  • Partner with internal teams, including IT Operations, Escalated Services, and Product Owners, to drive strategic initiatives and ensure seamless execution.
  • Act as the point of contact for senior leadership, presenting architecture strategies, product updates, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with external vendors and suppliers to identify opportunities for optimization and innovation.
  • Mentor and guide Product and Architecture teams, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Leading and managing a team of highly skilled infrastructure product owners, managers and Architecture.
  • Collaborate with Finance to analyze product spend, recovery trends, and cost drivers, identifying opportunities to reduce total cost of ownership and enhance cost recovery.
  • Drive accountability within our product team and product vendors for business outcome driven deliverables.
  • Establish and monitor KPIs to measure infrastructure performance and ensure adherence to SLAs

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Experience as a Product Manager, Product Owner, Architecture and leader, or similar role in a technology-driven environment and possessing skills in PMP, Agile, ITIL, etc.
  • Proven experience in change management, driving process improvements, aligning strategies with business outcomes, and ensuring team adherence to standards.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, nurture, and develop talent, with a strong focus on mentoring and building high-performing teams and influencing others.
  • Leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams and mentoring technical talent.
  • Experience and knowledge in information technology, including solutions such as networking, network security, computing, storage, data centers, cloud networking, and voice solutions.
  • Demonstrated experience and proven track record applying good economic thinking, critical thinking, collaboration, and accountability.
  • Travel requirements of 25% to support business needs, including collaboration with teams, stakeholders.

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience working with complex enterprise technologies with global stakeholders
  • Experience with Agile methodologies/ certification and Scrum master.
  • Forward leaning or transformation within this area: Infrastructure as Code, Automation, Proactive.
  • Knowledge of ITIL foundations / certifications / ITSM best practices
