We have an opportunity for a Lean Facilitator to join our New Brighton, MN team. You will train others in lean manufacturing concepts, coordinate and collaborate on manufacturing process optimization projects, evaluate production capacity requirements, and deliver against Lean, Transformation Plan, and Continuous Improvement goals for Pentair's New Brighton, MN location.

You will:

  • Organize, plan, and deliver training to Pentair associates based on the Toyota Production System (TPS model) throughout the organization.
  • Analyze and establish the current condition of processes, identify waste, develop a future target state, and implement lean processes and systems to improve efficiency and reduce overall lead time.
  • Lead in 5S principal implementation and training.
  • Successfully lead and train on Value Stream Mapping (VSM).
  • Develop A3s and define measurable SQDCC goals and objectives following the PDCA model.
  • Facilitate short and long-term lean initiatives throughout Enterprise and at all levels within the facility.
  • Teach Group and Team leaders how to sustain results following the MDI model.
  • Identify and evaluate equipment capacity requirements to support lean implementations.
  • Help to implement Pentair's strategy through a lean system approach.
  • Promote and foster lean practices throughout the company and suppliers.
  • Participate and engage directly and/or indirectly in all kaizen events.
  • Participate in benchmarking, process mapping, and Kaizen events with other locations.
  • Drive Operational Excellence throughout the assigned facility(s).

  • Minimum travel if any but the candidate must be able to travel to sister companies and Lean events when required.

Key Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Computer skills (MS Office Suite, especially Excel)
  • Should have team-building and rapid execution abilities.
  • Must be proactive, creative, and a hands-on change agent.
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal) with all levels of the organization.
  • Systems thinker and passionate about TPS principles.
  • Enjoy a challenging and fast-paced environment.
  • Goal-oriented and able to complete assignments on time.
  • Must be open-minded.
  • Available in the after-hours to facilitate events as necessary (weekends and holidays not excluded).

Compensation:

For this full-time position working at this location, the anticipated annualized base pay range will be from $61200 - $113600 / year. At Pentair, it is not typical for an individual to be hired near the bottom or top of the pay range. Pentair considers various factors in determining actual compensation for this position at the expected location. Actual compensation will be commensurate with a demonstrable level of experience and training, pertinent education including licensure and certifications, work location, and other relevant business or organizational needs. This position may be eligible for other forms of compensation such as, annual incentive bonus.
