Description

Responsible for daily shipping and receiving functions; UPS/Fedex shipping systems and
filing of documentation. Cross-functional skills/training will be required. Warehouse
Administrative Personnel will conduct themselves in an appropriate and professional manner
at all times with all employees and outside services. Paid breaks with weekly pay!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Data entry in D365/Excel/USS. Capable of running multiple shipping/warehouse systems
  • Capable of communicating and receiving instructions from customer service
  • Able to cover driver's window, assign loading of carriers and handle paperwork for drivers
  • Reads customer order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved,
    gathered, or distributed
  • Assists associates in filling customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or in
    boxes, or conveys orders to packing station. The use of a forklift may be required to complete
    these duties
  • Assists Warehouse Supervisor in directing associates in the absence of a Warehouse Lead
  • Prepares parcels and boxes for mailing
  • Maintains inventory/shipping records
  • Complete inventory cycle counts as required and relay shortages, overages and
    investigation results to the Warehouse Supervisor
  • Seeks process improvements
  • Other duties as assigned

Education:

  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED)

Qualifications:

  • Must be capable of performing the essential functions of the job with the appropriate
    education/experience, language, and other skills and abilities as listed below
  • Must be forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification through internal testing
  • Six months related warehousing experience and/or training

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

  • Must be forklift certified or able to obtain forklift certification through internal testing

Skills/Competencies:

  • Must possess the ability to read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence, and
    memos in the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to write simple correspondence in the English language.
  • Must possess the ability to effectively present information, in on-on-one and small group
    situations, to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
  • Must possess the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using
    whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Must possess the ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions
    furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
  • Must possess the ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
    standardized situations.
  • Required to be computer literate and capable of using a computer for data entry and printing
    warehouse paperwork. Data entry experience preferred.
  • Forklift certification preferred
