Acara Solutions seeks highly qualified candidates to work onsite with our client in Pomona, CA. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Installs and connects wires on electromechanical equipment using electric/mechanical tools and schematics.
  • Operates tools and equipment common to the wiring trade (wire strippers, pliers, crimpers, and power tools).
  • Scans in and out of work orders (using computers, scanning devices) in adherence to the production schedule or expedited orders.
  • Reads and interprets documents for completing wiring assignments (schematics, wiring lists).
  • Gathers wires, parts, and accessories needed in the wiring process.
  • Marks wires with identifying information or attaches identifying tags.
  • Attaches proper wire/cable terminal connectors.
  • Bundles wires and fastens with straps, tape
  • Mounts fuse blocks, rails on doors, pans, or other assemblies in preparation for wiring.
  • Installs, routes, and connects wires/cables according to specifications.
  • Disconnects and reconnects wires/cables to make adjustments or corrections.
  • Performs some assembly with the use of mechanical tools and blueprints. (pans).
  • Reports non-conforming items (fabricated parts, schematics)
  • Cleans and maintains equipment and work area to ensure proper functioning and safe working conditions.
  • Focused on meeting or exceeding the excellence of products, services, and work activities-measured against pre-set standards.
  • Willingly assists others by offering guidance, sharing knowledge, teaching skills, or directly performing a task to help out.
  • Puts team objectives ahead of personal interests.
  • Willingly accepts organizational changes and responds with appropriate urgency and actions.
  • Reacts to anger, frustration, and disappointment constructively (finding humor in situations; finding solutions to problems, using relaxation techniques).
  • Performs other work as directed by the supervisor.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $18.50/hr.

Hours: 40 hours/week.

Length: Temp (4 Months).

Shift: 2nd shift 4pm-12:30am

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience using basic mechanical and electrical tools.

  • Able to identify flaws and take corrective action.
  • The ability to tackle a problem or task using a logical, systematic, and sequential approach.
  • Ability to capture different aspects of an object or procedure, no matter how small, verifying correctness or error while being thorough and precise.
  • Basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English language.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be needed to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the necessary employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Job involves typically working indoors, being assigned to any of the different shifts, occasionally lifting heavy materials, wearing common safety equipment (cut-resistant gloves and sleeves, safety shoes, safety glasses, earplugs), being exposed to loud noises, and the possibility of bumps, cuts, scrapes, and strains.
  • Must reach, grasp, lift 50 lbs, and push/pull/slide heavy material (as needed).
  • Must be able to make coordinated movements of the hands and arms to grasp and move objects.
  • Able to stoop, bend, squat, crawl, and climb.
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
