Job Description WGL - Senior Business Analyst We're seeking a strategic and analytical Senior Business Analyst to join our team. In this role, you'll help shape the long-term direction of our business by analyzing performance, identifying growth opportunities, and supporting the development of forward-looking strategies. If you're passionate about market research, emerging technologies, and making data-driven decisions, we want to hear from you. You will: Support strategic planning and long-term business development through data analysis, market research, and stakeholder engagement. Conduct in-depth industry research, with a focus on both core utility operations and emerging low-carbon technologies. Contribute to high-impact strategic initiatives, including board and executive committee presentations. Lead and monitor the execution of strategic projects, identifying risks and ensuring timely progress. Deliver clear, compelling presentations and updates to senior leadership and the Board. Provide project analysis, including tracking timelines, resources, and risks. You have: Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in business analysis, strategy development, or related roles. Strong research and analytical skills, with the ability to build compelling business cases. Experience in strategic scenario analysis, M&A evaluation, or strategy consulting is a plus. Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel; knowledge of BI tools is an asset. Ability to translate complex data into actionable insights for diverse audiences.
