Product Analyst, Retirement Solutions

What is the opportunity?

Support RBC USWM Director, Retirement Solutions in providing analysis to aid in making informed business decisions and support the implementation and maintenance of the entire Retirement Solutions platform. The Product Analyst is a key team member tracking usage, identifying trends by analyzing client behavior, needs, and preferences making informed recommendations to the Product team. The Retirement Product Analyst will work on a variety of initiatives throughout product life cycle directly impacting product strategy and business performance.

What will you do?

• Research, collect and analyze data across the product set including IRAs, SEP, Simples, 401k plans and combining them into unified, coherent reports.
• Support the entire Retirement Solutions team with advisor support
• Assist in the creation of reports and presentations.
• Assist in policy and procedure updates
• Work with technology vendors to ensure data accuracy and visibility
• Assist in the implementation of product enhancements and projects
• Help develop and maintain internal Intranet sites
• Support field communications via various outlets including Newsletters, WebEx and emails.
• Due diligence and analysis of recordkeeping partners

What do you need to succeed?

Must-have

• Bachelor's degree preferred or 1-2 years' experience at a wealth management firm
• Understanding of retirement products regulatory and legal requirements
• Strong problem-solving, communication and interpersonal skills, including developing relationships with internal and external partners
• Ability to ask critical questions, anticipate problems/future needs, and take ownership as a highly motivate self starter

Nice-to-Have

• SIE, Series 7 and 63, or the ability to obtain

The good-faith expected salary range for the above position is $50,000 - $85,000, depending on factors including but not limited to the candidate's experience, skills, registration status; market conditions; and business needs. This salary range does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
