Workover Field Supervisor

The Eagle Ford Workover Foreman is responsible for coordinating and supervising workover activities at an operations site including planning, supervision, and documentation for well workovers in addition to other various well workover operations. The role leads, directs and coordinates the activities of consulting workover supervisors and various vendor crews. The role monitors workover costs, identifies cost-saving opportunities, and contributes to budget adherence. The role involves conducting regular inspections and audits to verify compliance with quality requirements and fosters a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing. The role is an integral part of the Production operations team, contributing to the successful execution of well workovers while prioritizing safety, quality, and efficiency.

• Demonstrates and promotes safe and ethical behavior at all times.

• Promotes and exercises the right and obligation to stop work if unsafe conditions exist or are suspected.

• Plans, organizes, and executes workover operations in line with project objectives, timelines and supervises workover activities for production programs.

• Supervises field activities during workover operations, ensuring compliance with safety protocols, industry standards, and company policies.

• Leads and supervises a team to ensure safety, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with regulations, overseeing day-to-day operations and personnel development.

• Ensures documentation of daily operations and costs are being done efficiently and with a focus on improving data quality/standardization. Includes reviewing and approving invoices, creating/updating wellbore schematics, and ensures seamless coordination with production engineering teams.

• Maintains accurate records of workover activities with a focus on highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.

• Fosters a culture of continuous improvement and knowledge-sharing.

• Aids in LOE modeling & Annual Budgeting exercise

• Participates in the training and development of field personnel, ensuring competency in workover operations and safety procedures.

• Ensures regulatory compliance in field workover operations, maintains a safe and ethical work environment, and mentors, trains, and develop consultants to achieve operational excellence.

• Manages equipment and resources required for workover activities, including coordinating maintenance and troubleshooting as needed and ensures availability of necessary tools and materials for the workover of wells.

Education:

• High School Diploma/General Education

• Diploma (GED)/Higher Secondary education and/or commensurate work experience is required.

Experience:

• 8+ years of relevant experience with 1-3 years of workover supervisory experience, preferably in E&P Operations specializing in Production Operations, Workover/Recompletions, and Operating Expense Evaluation or a related field. Industry experience is preferred.

Certifications:

• Well Control
