The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering offers undergraduate, M.Eng., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in the Mechanical Engineering program. The College of Engineering and Applied Science at UC has pioneered the mandatory cooperative experience for engineers since 1906 and has excellent relations with the industrial sector. The Mechanical Engineering program has 44 full-time faculty, about 120 full-time graduate students and over 800 undergraduate students. The department has well-equipped research and teaching laboratories that occupy over 120,000 square feet of space. The Department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering (MME) in the College of Engineering and Applied Science at the University of Cincinnati invites candidates to apply for the position of Senior Lab Associate. The Senior Lab Associate is expected to support academic laboratories in the Mechanical Engineering Program under the direct supervision of the MME Department Head, primarily in the area of electronics and electronic equipment repair. Two (2) years of experience in an area of technical specialty. Additional Qualifications Considered
* Excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills * Knowledge of current laboratory safety and OSHA standards. * A working knowledge of basic engineering data acquisition software packages Application Process Information
