The Process Technician is responsible for the setup, adjustments and troubleshooting of injection molding machines as well as the preparation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of materials and related production needs in order to facilitate production deadlines while adhering to related ISO requirements (9001:2015 standard)
- Setup, adjust, and troubleshooting operations of all injection molding machines and secondary equipment. Setups to include mechanical hookups as well as water, hydraulics, electric hookups and tooling.
- Deep understanding of each piece of equipment, and the corresponding effects of adjustments.
- Understanding how all steps of the process relate to each other "if this, than that".
- Changing and mixing materials and perform color changes
- Communicate status of the process to operators, QA, other Process Technicians, or Production Supervisor
- Assist Process Operators with equipment and material needs.
- Responsible for process documentation per ISO 9001 procedures.
- Be familiar with and operate secondary equipment, making routine repairs and maintenance as needed and directed by CTL or designee.
- Perform daily housekeeping to maintain consistently clean and safe working environment within production area.
- Ability to run a shift efficiently when alone.
- Other duties as assigned by Production Supervisor.
- Willingness and ability to learn new skills, development and training courses.
- Prompt and reliable Attendance.
