Duties: Provide subject matter expertise for ongoing support of applications deployed to OCC's non production AWS environments and third party applications. Identify root causes and automate solutions in support of development. Design, build, and maintain Kafka infrastructure, including clusters, topics, brokers, and producers and consumers. Integrate Kafka with cloud-based systems such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Optimize Kafka performance and scalability, tune configurations, and manage resources. Develop and maintain automation scripts and tools and manage Kafka utilization. Collaborate with development teams to identify opportunities for Kafka integration. Implement solutions to improve performance and reliability. Work to ensure Kafka infrastructure meets compliance and security requirements. Participate in rotations, providing Kafka infrastructure and related systems support. Write automation scripts with automation tools, such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Terraform. Build an end-to-end DevOps framework using tools like Jenkins, Kubernetes, Docker, and Ansible. Develop a universal Jenkins file that can dynamically choose the CI capabilities from the shared library and execute the pipeline based on YAML-based configuration files. Define standard formats for the specification/config files used to drive the CI/CD pipelines of various applications in Jenkins. Revamp CI/CD DevOps framework, including Jenkins shared library, to enhance code flexibility for wider technical support (Kafka and AWS).
