Under limited supervision, develops, modifies, installs, tests, and maintains operating systems software. Responds to issues related to environment, hardware, system, and/or software, executes disaster recovery procedures across technology areas.

Essential Functions

  • This position is responsible for architecting, designing, installation, configuration, maintaining, and supporting current and future container-based infrastructure technologies to enable rapid delivery of reliable software solutions across the enterprise.
  • Design, architect, and develop PaaS infrastructure based on container platforms
  • Develop automation leveraging infrastructure as code (IaC) tools such Terraform and GitOps.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems and issues within the Platform as a Service infrastructure
  • Build and leverage solid working relationships with business and product stakeholders
  • Represent the voice of the customer to elicit, understand, analyze, document, refine and communicate business needs
  • Mentoring junior employees

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Experience with containerized compute environments, such as Kubernetes (Azure AKS), Cloud Foundry, or other
  • Experience in infrastructure automation tasks and interacting with REST API services using tools such as shell scripting, Python and Ansible or Terraform
  • Knowledge of the architecture of PaaS infrastructure in a hybrid Cloud environment
  • Software development experience with at least one programming language like Go, Java, Python, or Ruby
  • Experience working with monitoring tools such as Prometheus, Splunk, Dynatrace, or similar tools
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Strong oral & written communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Good knowledge of Agile development methodologies

Domicile Information:

This position can be domiciled anywhere in the United States. The ability to work remotely within the United States may be available based on business need.

Minimum Education

Bachelor's Degree in computer science, engineering, information systems, or related field, and/or equivalent formal,

Minimum Experience

Five (5) years equivalent work experience in information technology or engineering environment.

Pay Transparency: This compensation range is provided as a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary range for this role across all potential locations. If this opportunity includes multiple job levels, the range is a reasonable estimate of the current starting salary for the lowest level to the current starting salary of the highest level. Actual starting pay would be determined by experience relative to the job, market level, pay at the location for this job and other job-related factors permitted by law. An employee may be eligible for additional pay, premiums, or bonus potential. The Company offers eligible employees health, vision and dental insurance, retirement, and tuition reimbursement.

Pay: $7,882.48 - $10,444.28/month
