What You Will Do:

As an OT Systems Administrator, you will play an essential role within our Operational Technology department, reporting to the Operational Technology Manager. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:



  • Work with key stakeholders, various vendors, and OT management to understand business and systems requirements.
  • Provide direct support and monitoring of technical infrastructure (software and hardware) and provide recommendations for technology upgrades and replacements.
  • Implement and manage virtual infrastructure (OS, software and hardware).
  • Implement and manage Microsoft Active Directory.
  • Work with company Security Operations Center (SOC) to assist with remediation of discovered OT application and infrastructure vulnerabilities.
  • Assist and cross-train with System Administrators and other business resources that support OT technologies.
  • Recommend design solutions to meet business requirements.
  • Monitor performance of technical infrastructure (software and hardware) and provide recommendations for technology upgrades and replacements.
  • Determine appropriateness of system changes or modifications.
  • Supervise the activities of on-site vendors or technicians.
  • Conduct daily security monitoring activities, escalating incidents as necessary.
  • Review vulnerability assessments and threat intelligence for continuous improvement and directed response.
  • Prepare technical reports and instructional manuals.
  • Keep up-to-date on new emerging technologies.
  • Coordinate small to medium size projects.


What You Will Bring:



  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, MIS, or any Engineering field preferred. Experience of an advanced level in relevant areas may be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the Bachelor's Degree.
  • Four years directly relevant experience.
  • Detailed knowledge and experience with:

    • Microsoft Windows Server technologies.
    • Oracle or MS SQL Server databases.
    • VMWare virtual infrastructure environment.
    • Nutanix hyperconverged storage and compute infrastructure.
    • Microsoft Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
    • TCP/IP network troubleshooting proficiency.


  • LDAP and/or Active Directory administration
  • Proficient in Windows and Linux Operating Systems and server configuration.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and be qualified to operate a vehicle under the conditions of the Safe Driving Policy.
  • Ability to pass a background, past employment, credit, drug, and driving record screening.


Preferred skills and qualifications:



  • Time management, analytical, project management, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently, self-starter required
  • Working knowledge of router and switch network technology.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills as well as listening skills.
  • Ability to professionally and effectively: perform the job functions, communicate with the public, contractors, governmental agencies and representatives, and work with other departments and personnel to accomplish ENSTAR's objectives.
  • Proven organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evaluate data, compile statistics and prepare reports, graphs, tables and charts.
  • Proven ability to develop and follow procedures/ documentation and comply with regulations and audits/inspections.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in verbal and written form.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and ability to use/learn other technologies.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work effectively and cooperatively with all levels of management, staff and contractors; exhibit a professional manner in dealing with others.
  • Possess superior information management and follow-up skills.
