Intercollegiate Athletics Job Description
The University of Missouri's Softball Program is seeking a Director of Player Development. Reporting to the Head Coach, this individual will be responsible for: Assisting in the daily operation of the program, including team practices, drills, and game preparation. Developing and implementing individualized player development plans in collaboration with the coaching staff. Helping with the identification, evaluation, and recruitment of prospective student-athletes. Organizing and executing on-campus recruiting visits, official and unofficial. Supporting player retention and transition processes of players. Analyzing player performance metrics and providing insights to guide development plans. Assisting with opponent scouting and data organization as needed. Serving as a liaison to compliance, academics, operations, and sports medicine regarding player-related matters. Helping with organizing and staffing camps, clinics, and prospect events. Representing the program at events, including showcases, tournaments, and donor functions. Adhering to NCAA, SEC, and University regulations. Other duties as assigned. Shift
Monday-Friday 8:00am-5:00pm; Nights, Weekends, and Travel as required. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree in related/relevant area or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
Prior Softball experience is preferred. Anticipated Hiring Range
