DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will serve as the Inventory and Operations Planning (I&OP) Planner by evaluating existing forecasting standards and metrics and analyzing inventory and operations planning methods to improve efficiency and effectiveness. Your forecasting responsibilities will include the analysis of historical data and trends to determine forecasting method and application; initial item set up of new items for forecasting; development of planning parameters for both new and sale items within the current operating systems; and making programmatic recommendations based on analysis and research. You will have the opportunity to own your items for the entire forecasting cycle.

This is a highly integrated position that works with many stakeholders, decision makers, and planning partners by providing recommendations, reports, and analysis to determine impact and performance level. You will collaborate with information technology, marketing, replenishment, procurement, wholesale, and executive personnel. As the subject matter expert in your assigned department, our team will rely on you to make consultative recommendations to partners based on research, as well as create briefs for the chain of command on any updates or recommendations provided to partners. Work Schedule and Additional Information:

  • Full-time employment
  • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 30-minute lunch.
  • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time. Employee is to report to the office once a week (Monday) and work four days at home. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
  • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:

  • One year as a Product and Supply Analyst or Product Associate 2 (Commonwealth job titles or equivalent Federal Government job titles, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
  • Two years of analytical experience in supply chain, logistics, finance, or business operations in the consumer packaged goods industry, and a bachelor's degree; or
  • An equivalent combination of experience and training.

  • You must be able to perform essential job functions.

  • You must pass a background investigation. An applicant with a felony conviction within the last ten years of their prospective date of employment is not permitted to work for the PLCB, per section 210(c) of the Pennsylvania Liquor Code.
