DESCRIPTION OF WORK

As an FF&E Coordinator, you will assist agencies in making legislative and purchasing requests in a timely manner so that FF&E is available when needed and does not arrive too early, incurring storage fees, or too late which may delay occupancy. This professional also provides data on the projected spending needs for fitting out capital construction projects to the budget office in order to secure appropriate levels of bond funding. You will be responsible for tracking FF&E needs from project inception through occupancy and implementing and maintaining a five-year capital project cash-flow projection for all capital construction projects requiring FF&E. Duties also entail working across agencies and offices to assure that legislative authority for FF&E funding is available and requested when needed to fit out the Capital Construction Projects. Excellent networking skills are employed to provide superior customer service to our agencies by assisting in navigation between several bureaus in DGS which may include Finance and Risk Management (FARM), Procurement, Bureau of Real Estate, Capital Programs Design Management, and Capital Programs Construction.

- Full-time employment
- Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a 60-minute lunch. Work schedule start and end times are flexible and are established with the employee during the hiring process.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 4 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
- Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year as an Administrative Officer 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Three years of experience in progressively responsible and varied office management or staff work, including experience in personnel management, budgeting, or procurement; and a bachelor's degree; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
Additional Requirements:
- You must possess four or more years of project management experience.
- You must possess four or more years of experience with the traditional design and construction project process.
- You must possess four or more years of experience with space planning and furniture selection and procurement.
- You must possess experience reading the Critical Path on a construction schedule.
- You must be able to perform essential job functions.
Preferred Qualifications (not required):
- Experience with Commonwealth of Pennsylvania procurement.
- Experience with meeting facilitation.
- Experience with conflict resolution.
- Experience with Trimble Unity Construct (formerly e-Builder) construction management software.
- Experience with the following Microsoft Office Suite modules:
- Outlook

- Excel
- Access
- Power Point
- Project
- TEAMS
- Power AI
