MidFirst Bank's award-winning MoneyMoments financial education program received recognition in the 2016, 2018, 2019, 2020 and 2023 American Bankers Association Community Commitment Awards for addressing educational needs in a unique way, and received an Excellence in Financial Education Award (EIFLE) in 2019, 2023 and 2024. In 2024, the MoneyMoments program hosted 743 workshops to reach 29,718 participants!

PURPOSE OF POSITION

Coordinate, design, and deliver the MidFirst's MoneyMoments financial education program and community outreach events.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop, coordinate, and deliver financial education programs and community events to consumers of all ages.



  1. Customize and facilitate workshops, webinars and events

    1. Schedule financial education and community outreach events
    2. Oversee event logistics, coordinate with all parties involved to deliver desired result


  2. Create financial education content, including workshops, web, video, and social media
  3. Develop community non-profit, school, university, and internal relationships to promote MoneyMoments program and seek workshop bookings
  4. Coordinate community outreach events
  5. Participate in financial education organizations and events


PREREQUISITE SPECIFICATIONS

Must have a passion for financial education and for guiding college students towards forming a strong financial future.



  1. Bachelor's degree in business, education, community relations, marketing or other related field
  2. Outgoing and dynamic with the ability to quickly build rapport with students, audiences and community partners
  3. Strong oral communication skills, including some experience in public speaking, teaching, or course facilitation. Must be comfortable presenting to a variety of audiences.
  4. Strong written communication skills
  5. Ability to complete assignments with little supervision and while adhering to time budget and deadlines
  6. Business software skills, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint, to prepare reports, presentations, and analyses
  7. Ability to establish and maintain harmonious working relationships with business unit management, co-workers, and external contacts, and to work effectively in a professional team environment


WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal working environment in business office or university setting. Includes heavy local travel to present workshops, including occasional evening and weekend workshops or events. Event setup may include light lifting. Occasional travel to MidFirst headquarters in Oklahoma City and other MidFirst communities, including California, Colorado, and Texas. Milage reimbursement.
