Department OverviewAs part of the Global Customer Experience team, the Subscription Center of Excellence is dedicated to improving customer satisfaction and success, implementing best practices, driving operational efficiency and scalability, tracking key subscription KPIs, and innovating business models and go-to-market strategies to drive growth and long-term value for MSI. The COE collaborates closely with all MSI product teams, acting as the central hub and unified voice in all matters related to subscriptions. Job Description

The Program Manager will be responsible for managing key initiatives within our Subscription Center of Excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in program management, with specific experience in subscription-based business models as a plus. You will play a crucial role in driving the development, implementation, and optimization of our subscription programs, ensuring alignment with our business objectives and delivering exceptional value to our customers.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a program roadmap to ensure alignment with the Subscription Center of Excellence's long-term business goals and priorities.

  • Manage the full lifecycle of subscription-related programs, from initiation and planning to execution, monitoring, and closure.

  • Define program scope, objectives, and deliverables, in collaboration with stakeholders across various departments (e.g., Product, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Customer Success).

  • Develop detailed program plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk management strategies.

  • Coordinate and facilitate cross-functional teams to ensure program activities are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.

  • Facilitate change management efforts to ensure smooth adoption of new processes, systems, and programs across teams.

  • Track program progress, identify and resolve issues, and communicate status updates to stakeholders on a regular basis.

  • Analyze program performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement optimization strategies.

  • Ensure adherence to established program management methodologies and best practices.

  • Contribute to the development and documentation of subscription center of excellence processes and procedures.

  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in subscription management.

  • Manage vendor relationships as needed for program execution.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Program Manager, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects.

  • Excellent organizational, time-management, and prioritization skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

  • Exceptional communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

  • PMP certification is a plus.

  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM is a plus.

  • Experience working with subscription-based business models is a plus.

  • Strong understanding of subscription metrics (e.g., ARR, churn rate, customer lifetime value) is a plus

This position is a hybrid position and candidates should be located in the areas of Ashburn, VA; Chicago, IL; or Schaumburg, IL to be able to come into the office.

Target Base Salary Range: $125,000 - $135,000 USD
Consistent with Motorola Solutions values and applicable law, we provide the following information to promote pay transparency and equity. Pay within this range varies and depends on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The actual offer will be based on the individual candidate.

Basic Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of experience as a Program Manager.

  • OR 8+ years of experience as a Program Manager.

  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
