About the Opportunity

DMI, LLC is seeking a Sr. Systems Analyst / Cloud Architect to join us.

Duties and Responsibilities: The Sr. Systems Analyst works with the Enterprise Systems Team, primarily focused on Microsoft Azure architecture and solutions, in addition to M365 architecture and administration.

    Ensuring that the customers Microsoft Azure presence is stable, robust, available and efficient.
  1. Troubleshoots issues and incidents as they arise
  2. Work with customer and engineering colleagues to help align technical solutions to the business need of the organization.
  3. Participating in enterprise projects as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on Microsoft Azure solutions, configuration and tool availability.
  4. Reviews and qualifies new Microsoft solutions for the customer
  5. Strong comfort operating within Microsoft Azure: management, licensing, security and networking

Duties
  • Operational management of M365 tenant
  • Operational management of Azure tenant
  • Testing and Deployment of new M365 features
  • Developing and recommending solutions using available tools to meet policy and compliance requirements of the organization
  • Tier 3 support for various MDOT IT Teams in all issues related to Active Directory, M365, and Azure
  • Design, implementation, and training of owners for Azure solution for mode/department specific workloads.
  • Design, implementation, and operational management of Enterprise-level Azure workloads
  • Advisement, design, and implementation of Active Directory improvements
  • Coordinate with third-party vendors to implement various Azure and/or Active Directory integrations
  • Assistance with designing and implementing custom Azure solution for automation, web application, database, and backup workloads
  • Operational management and feature implementation for Microsoft Sentinel
  • Advisement and running of eDiscovery cases for various departments/modes
  • Collaboration with the Security team to design, implement, and manage various security tools within Microsoft Defender XDR
  • Collaboration with Compliance and Policy teams to implement tools to enforce Data Loss Prevention and Document and Communication compliance
  • Administrative and end-user training for various M365 tools and features.
  • Act as lead on many projects for third-party projects and implementations

Qualifications

Education and Years of Experience: This position requires a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business or a related technical discipline. A Bachelor's degree in one of the above disciplines is equal to one (1) year of specialized and two (2) years of general experience. An additional year of specialized experience may be substituted for the required education.

General Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least eight (8) years of experience in Information Technology Systems Analysis.

Specialized Experience: The proposed candidate must have at least five (5) years of experience in the design of business applications on complex IT systems. This position requires a broad knowledge of data sources, data flow, systems interaction, advance computer equipment and software applications, and advanced systems design techniques to develop solutions to unyielding complex problems and to advise officials on systems design and IT forecasts.

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Microsoft ; Azure

Additional Requirements: Successful completion of a Fingerprint background investigation.

Min Citizenship Status Required: H1-B preferred

Physical Requirements: No Physical requirement needed for this position.

Location: Remote, Maryland - Greater DMV area; occasional in-office as required
