Title: Planning Supervisor/Maintenance Scheduler
Location: St. Gabriel, LA
Salary: $99,500 to $129,500
Schedule: 9/80 or Standard 40hr/week available
Focus: The Planning Supervisor/Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for the Maintenance Work Process (MWP) Plan Work Sub-Process for the St. Gabriel site. This role supervises, develops, and mentors Planners in execution of the Plan Work process. The Planning Supervisor/Maintenance Scheduler is responsible for creating a maintenance schedule that makes effective and efficient use of available resources following the Maintenance work process.
Planning Supervisor/Maintenance Scheduler Essential Functions:
Oversees Planning Organization performance
Monitors and ensures compliance with the MWP Plan Work Sub-Process
Monitors Plan Work Sub-Process KPIs and metrics
Assesses Planning performance and proactively addresses identified opportunities
Trains and educates Planners and MWP Team Members as needs are identified
Works with Global M&R Functional Managers to achieve company goals
Provides direct and/or indirect development and supervision to maintenance planners
Creates and publishes a weekly schedule ensuring the workforce is fully utilized by verifying the capacity of available internal and external resources and equipment
Ensures scheduled work progress is documented and verifies all compliance maintenance work is completed by the due date
Manages and motivates staff, reviews and assesses performance, develops and builds employee skills, supports their professional development and enables employees to optimize their contribution to the department
Planning Supervisor/Maintenance Scheduler Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED
3+ years' experience scheduling Maintenance using SAP
5+ years' maintenance craft experience
Journeyman level classified in respective maintenance craft(s)
Proven effective verbal and written communication skills; trouble-shooting and analytical presentation skills
Prior Olin experience in a relevant position preferred
Must be able to obtain a TWIC (Transportation Worker Identification Credential) and possess a valid US driver's license
