Business Strategy Director

We have an opportunity for a Business Strategy Manager to join our Business Strategy team in Tacoma, reporting to the Senior Director of Business Strategy. In this role, you will gain broad visibility across the company and have the opportunity to shape high-level initiatives and drive strategic growth. Your work will influence how Infoblox allocates resources, enters new markets, and executes transformational initiatives. You'll apply a combination of analytical rigor, market insight, and operational coordination to identify and advance opportunities for innovation and efficiency. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, you'll ideate and develop integrated strategies, support M&A efforts, and deliver insights to executive leadership and the Board of Directors.

Be a Contributor - What You'll Do



  • Identify gaps and opportunities across business operations, with a focus on cybersecurity and networking domains
  • Evaluate and support M&A activities, including strategic fit assessments, and integration planning
  • Lead structured problem-solving efforts, leveraging strategic frameworks and data analysis to formulate recommendations
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, finance, go-to-market, and operations teams to develop and execute initiatives
  • Build detailed business cases and strategic narratives to support executive decision-making
  • Coordinate and track the implementation of approved initiatives, ensuring accountability and reporting on milestones against cooperate OKR's
  • Analyze market dynamics, customer needs, and the competitive landscape to provide forward-looking insights
  • Engage with senior leadership and the Board of Directors to align strategic priorities and communicate progress


Be Prepared - What You Bring



  • 10+ years of business experience in strategy, corporate development, or strategic consulting
  • Strong experience in the networking, cybersecurity, or cloud infrastructure industry
  • Demonstrated ability to evaluate and support M&A, partnerships, or investment opportunities
  • Fluency in financial modeling, forecasting, and business case development
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Familiarity with strategic frameworks
  • Excellent communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with shifting priorities
  • MBA or equivalent preferred; consulting or advisory background is a strong plus

  • We practice pay transparency and reward performance. Offers reflect role location, internal equity, experience, skills, education, and certifications. Base salary for this position: $135,400 - $205,920 plus bonus or commission.
