Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$15.64 - $18.75 / hour

Float Rate:$8.00 per hour

Shift Differential:$2.00 per hour

Summary

Provides patient care duties under the guidance and direction of the nurse. Responsible for implementing components of the plan of care through the initiation/completion of procedures relating to basic human, mental health, social needs, comfort, safety and emergency measures; activities of daily living; personal care needs; nutrition and fluid and elimination needs. May have access to and transport non-controlled medications as directed.

Staffing Resource Center (SRC) flexible float pool staff float throughout the health system to all acute care hospitals within their scope of practice and demonstrated competencies. Intra-shift staff reassignment and direct placements may be required to support system needs.

The Staffing Resource Center (SRC) is seeking experienced CNA's with at least six months of recent hospital or skilled nursing experience. We offer competitive pay, flexible self-scheduling, comprehensive benefits, shift differential, and compensation for floating.

Requirements

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; completion of a State Approved, CNA Education Program required (with at least 120 hours of academic studies and clinical training; 165 hours preferred in Acute Care).

Experience:

Previous CNA work experience required.

License:

Current Florida CNA Certification; or a CNA certification active in another state which is transferrable to obtain Florida certification under reciprocity.

Certification:

Proof of American Heart Association Healthcare Provider Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required; current for a minimum of 90 days after hire date.

Other:

Communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills and customer service skills required; knowledge of medical terminology.
