The Ohio Colleges of Medicine Government Resource Center (GRC) invites applications for a Senior Reporting and Analytics Analyst position (Senior Researcher). A successful applicant will engage in applied health services and population health research in a project-based, team setting. The successful candidate will focus primarily on (1) survey design, instrumentation, and administration; and (2) analysis and reporting of weighted survey data. This individual may also support the qualitative research component of mixed-methods projects. Senior Researchers are expected to perform mainly technical skill tasks, but in somecases,they may also contribute toprojectleadershipand administration. They are expected to complete work independently on tasks with moderate complexity while assisting or completing advanced complexity tasks with appropriate assistance and oversight. Senior Researchers typically work on multiple projects at a time and have significant project responsibilities. Typical responsibilities are project-specific and may include combinations of the following: assists with quantitative data collection by designing survey questionnaires and research protocols; tests survey instruments and runs data checks on collected data; tracks progress on survey fielding and troubleshoots issues with response rates, data quality, and survey administration; participates in survey data collection via conducting telephone interviews; assists with research documentation, such as the creation of methodology reports and survey crosswalks; conducts analysis of weighted survey data and composes reports and presentation materials; performs statistical analyses using survey or administrative data; assists with developing qualitative protocols; conducts qualitative data collection through semi-structured interviews or other qualitative methods and/or assists with qualitative data collection and analysis; presents results to project sponsors and other audiences; conducts literature searches and literature reviews; assists as a liaison to project partners and sponsors; and assists with the development of protocols and the composition of institutional review board (IRB) applications. Minimum Education Required: Bachelors degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience is required. Additional Education Required: Required Qualifications: A minimum of 4 years of relevant experience with a bachelors degree or 2 years of relevant experience with an advanced degree (masters degree or a PhD) in a relevant field of study is required. Requires successful completion of a background check. The selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical, including a drug screen. Candidates selected for an interview may be asked to provide a writing sample and a code sample. Additional Desired Qualifications: Experience with survey research methods. An advanced degree in a relevant field of study is preferred. Experience programming survey instruments using platforms such as REDCap or qualtrics is preferred. Experience with R is preferred. Experience with qualitative data collection and/or analysis, such as semi-structured interviews, focus groups, or document analysis, is preferred. Experience with mixed methods research is preferred.
