BRIEF DESCRIPTION:

The TPM Lead will report to the Plant Manager. The TPM Lead is responsible for defining, implementing and driving TPM initiatives in safety, quality, capacity, lead time, inventory, and safety through lean problem-solving methodologies. The TPM Lead will drive TPM in plant operations and help support change and foster cooperation by leading teams through the TPM processes and projects.

RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Define and implement theTPM visionin alignment with corporate strategy.
  • Translate business goals into TPM objectives.
  • Champion TPM as acore pillar of operational excellence.
  • Lead thecultural shiftfrom reactive to proactive maintenance.
  • Embed TPM principles into the company's DNA throughleadership modelingandemployee empowerment.
  • Promote azero-loss mindsetacross all departments.
  • InfluenceCapEx decisionsby providing data-driven insights on equipment, lifecycle, ROI, and risk.
  • Collaborate with leadership and engineering to prioritize investments in automation, predictive technologies, and modernization.
  • Build TPM knowledgethrough mentoring, coaching, and structured development programs.
  • Ensure knowledge retention and transfer throughTPM documentation and training systems.

  • Identifies areas for improvement within existing processes and monitors existing and new business processes or opportunities in quality, capacity, lead time, inventory, and safety through lean problem-solving methodologies.
  • Analyzes current performance metrics and suggest enhancements to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
  • Leads and manages multiple improvement projects from initiation to completion. Develop project plans, set timelines, and ensure timely delivery of results.
  • Collect and analyze data to identify trends, root causes of issues, and opportunities for improvement. Use statistical tools and techniques to support decision-making.
  • Tracks, measure, and reports progress on improvement activities related to business plan, goals, and issues.
  • Trains and mentors' employees on continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, and other relevant tools. Promote a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.
  • Works closely with cross-functional teams including safety, production, quality, supply chain, maintenance, and engineering to implement improvement initiatives. Foster collaboration and effective communication among team members.
  • Develops and implements performance measurement systems to monitor the impact of improvement initiatives. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and report on progress to senior management.
  • Maintains comprehensive documentation of processes, improvements, and project outcomes. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Implements capital projects and process improvements.
  • Develops and manages multiple processes, long and short-term, sustainable, lead-related visual action plans to key projects implemented.
  • Conducts special projects as needed.
  • Collaborates with safety to develop and implement safety programs for continuous improvement that complies with safety regulations.
  • Other responsibilities maybe assigned as needed for the support of the plant.


EDUCATION:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees or certifications in Lean, Six Sigma, or similar are preferred.

EXPERIENCE:



  • Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive experience in a continuous improvement leadership role within a manufacturing or industrial environment. Proven track record of leading successful improvement projects.
  • Proficient in the use of continuous improvement tools and methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Familiarity with statistical software and data analysis tools.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong project management abilities.
  • Commitment to fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge and experience with Microsoft Office: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
