Get to Know Your Team:

• Peachford Hospital is an acute care hospital with 246 licensed beds, providing comprehensive psychiatric care to patients from age 4 to 94. We have a 50+ year tradition of providing the best in mental health care and have 500 incredible employees who trust their careers to us.

Responsibilities

• The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge.
• Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with nurse managers and other leaders directors in the daily operation of unit and ensures proper protocols are in place
• Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum: Associate's Degree or Diploma of Nursing.
• One (1) year of psychiatric experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.
• Valid Georgia Nursing license or compact license
